Discovering the Library's Art Collection Part II: Souvenirs of Italy

The 19th century grand tour of Italy is present at the library in three marbles by Zocchi, Adams and Benzoni - unfamiliar names that will come to life with a discussion of sculptures of Michelangelo as a boy, a south Italian shepherd boy and Diana, presented by Amy Golahny.

This is the final session of this two part series about the library's permanent collection of art. All are welcome, including those who did not attend Part I.

Amy Golahny, PhD Columbia University, is Richmond Professor Emerita of Lycoming College, Williamsport PA. She has lectured internationally, authored and edited books and articles on Rembrandt and other topics, and served as president of the Historians of Netherlandish Art.
