Blues and the Poetry of the Harlem Renaissance

Explore the intersection of Delta Blues and the poetry of the Harlem Renaissance in this special Zoom event with performer Robin O'Herin. The evening will include live music, interactive poetry readings and a slide show. A Q & A will follow.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Newton local cultural council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Robin specializes in historically rich, often interactive concerts that include original and traditional American music, for schools, libraries and small listening rooms. Her concerts are warm, affirming experiences she shares with the audience. Robin has appeared with Paul Geremia, Andy Cohen and Roy Bookbinder and performed in Europe and across the US.

Registration for this program will end two hours before the start time. The login information will be sent just after registration closes. Please be sure to check your spam folder in case it lands there.
