Make a Pollinator Hotel

Join us at the library for our first in-person MakerSpace program! We’ll use materials like paper, branches, and other natural objects to create unique pollinator hotels. These hotels will hopefully attract local solitary bees and other helpful critters to your yard!

We’ll have tools and supplies at the library, but we encourage you to bring your own materials and tools to share. Some examples of useful things to bring:

  • Reclaimed wood (old drawers, small crates and planks, etc.)
  • Pinecones
  • Straw
  • Tin cans (empty and rinsed)
  • Newspaper
