Event box
The library invites everyone in the City of Newton community to join a youth-moderated discussion on Jennifer De Leon's teen debut, Don't Ask Me Where I'm From. Don't Ask Me Where I'm From tells the story of Liliana Cruz, a Boston teen from an immigrant family who is accepted into the METCO program—and the challenges she faces as she is forced to confront racism at her new white suburban school.
Books & audiobooks available on Sora, NNHS & NSHS libraries, and the public library! You can also purchase Jennifer's books at Newtonville Books!
