ELL - Book Group on Zoom
Event box

The ELL Book Discussion Group is a free class on Zoom for adult high-intermediate to advanced English learners. Our first book, 1984, portrays an imagined future world. George Orwell wrote the book to warn readers like you of how dangerous a state led by a dictator could be.
Ongoing Thursday evening sessions begin May 21, 2020. Limited to 8 students. Online registration (required) is now open.
You can access a free online copy of the book here or a paperback copy at Amazon.com for less than $10.
For more information, contact Susan Bécam, Program Coordinator, at NewtonELL@minlib.net.
