[CLASS FULL] ELL - Exploring Boston and New England

Event box

In this class we will discuss the many beautiful places and historic sites in the Boston area. Whether in the city of Boston itself or in other parts of New England — including Cape Cod, the Berkshires, the North Shore, and the South Shore — there is much to explore on a day trip or overnight. We will discuss the kinds of places we enjoy visiting and what we like to do, such as hiking, being in nature, going to museums, and learning about local history. We will also discuss historic sites and popular tourist attractions in students' home countries. We will decide as a class the places we want to explore. This class is for intermediate to advanced students.

This class meets in person (on the third floor of the library) on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m., from September 9 until November 18, 2026 (no class on November 11).

The teacher's name is Rebecca. For more information, please contact Andrew Shapira, ELL Program Coordinator, at 617-796-1364 or newtonell@minlib.net.
