Diving into the Digital Past: Exploring the Library's Local History Online
Event box
In celebration of the Newton Free Library's 150 years, join us for a deep dive into the Library's local history resources online! We will trace the history of the library through digitized resources like Polk's directories, the Newton Graphic, and more. Through our digitized photo collection on Digital Commonwealth, we will uncover pictures of the library bookmobile circa 1920, our buildings, and other bits of Newton Free Library history.
On the day of the event you will receive an email with a link to join. At the time of the program simply click on the link and you'll see the host. For more information email Nicole at newtonpublicservices@minlib.net.
Registration for this program will end one hour before the start time. The Zoom link will be sent after registration closes. Please be sure to check your spam folder in case it lands there.
