ELL - Let's Talk About Science
Event box

Did you ever wonder why leaves change color in the fall? Or why humid days feel hotter than dry days? Or why winter is so dark? Or where butterflies go in the winter? We will choose one or two of your questions to discuss each week. We will read short articles together and talk about science while practicing vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. No science knowledge is necessary, but if you have information to share, that's great! This class is for intermediate students.
The class meets in person (on the third floor of the library) on Thursdays at 1:00 p.m., from October 16 until December 11, 2025 (no class on November 27).
The teacher's name is Anndy. For more information, please contact Andrew Shapira, ELL Program Coordinator, at 617-796-1364 or newtonell@minlib.net.
