Climate Preparedness Week: Protecting Our Shared Future
Event box
This Climate Preparedness Week, learn how the City of Newton and local organizations are working to protect our health and safety, improve community resilience, and mitigate the risks and damage of extreme weather. These Newtonians are strengthening efforts to reduce carbon emissions, pollution, and waste; increase energy efficiency, biodiversity, and the conservation of natural resources; and build our shared green infrastructure.
This program will include a presentation about the City's Newton Climate Action Plan, a panel of local organizations, and an interactive Q&A. Join us to learn what Newton is doing to protect our shared future, and to learn how to get involved.
