Inclusive and Diverse Book Recommendations on Zoom
Event box

Join Leelynn Brady for 30 minutes of pure book recommendations! Leelynn will share books in a variety of genres - as well as young adult and middle grade books - all featuring diverse perspectives. Come discover new books with BIPOC, LGBTQ+, or disabled protagonists, or by authors from diverse backgrounds - and share your own recommendations in the chat. Whether you're looking for books that reflect your own identity or books with perspectives different from your own, we're sure you'll find something to like from Leelynn's many enthusiastic reviews.

Leelynn (she/they) is a book blogger and bookstagrammer at @sometimeleelynnreads. She is an avid reader and supporter of diverse books. She has been talking about her favorite books and authors on Instagram for 10 years and doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Her love of reading was fostered at an early age, when her mom told her how much she loved reading and wanted to be just like her. She also participates in a few book clubs that continue to expand her reading, and is a huge library and indie bookstore supporter. Coming from the beautiful state of Hawaii, she is excited to continue to share her love of books and hopes to bring some new and amazing books to your radar.
We'll send out a list of all recommendations for those who register. We will also be recording our meetings and uploading them to the Ashland Public Library's YouTube Channel.
