Poetry Discussion Group on Zoom
Event box

Explore the world of poetry in the Poetry Discussion Group. At each meeting, we’ll read aloud and discuss a selection of poems by a classic or contemporary poet. Poetry can be especially meaningful when read and discussed together, so we'll share our reactions, questions, and thoughts about each poem. No knowledge of poetry required, and no need to read anything in advance - all poems will be provided at the meeting. Whether you're a lifelong poetry reader or want to start exploring poetry, you're welcome to attend!
This group meets on the third Thursday of the month at 10:30am, virtually via Zoom. This group is geared toward adults, and new members are always welcome. Questions? Write to Lily at programs@newtonfreelibrary.net
This month, we will be reading poems by Richard Blanco.
