ELL - Conversations on Current Topics, Social Issues, and Culture
Event box
Join us to discuss the news of the day, as well as social and cultural issues that interest you, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We will introduce relevant vocabulary, idioms, and common expressions, and we will practice pronunciation while asking and answering questions. Some short readings and video clips will be assigned to help prepare for our conversations. This class is for intermediate to advanced students.
This class meets in person (on the third floor of the library) on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m., from July 2 until August 6, 2024.
The teachers' names are Barbara and Susan. For more information, please contact Andrew Shapira, Program Coordinator, at 617-796-1364 or newtonell@minlib.net.
