DIY Calming Kit

Everyone feels dysregulated or stressed at some point. A calming kit or a calm down kit is full of your favorite items that can help you self-regulate and center yourself. Calm boxes focus on exercises that can ground you by feeling, smelling, hearing, tasting, or practicing your breath. May is Mental Health Awareness Month. The National Alliance on Mental Health's 2024 campaign focuses on the importance of destigmatizing mental health by normalizing the practice of taking moments to prioritize mental health care without guilt or shame. Registration is required. Grades 5-12.
