Purchase your tickets for The Board of Library Trustees' annual Spring Fling Fundraising Gala on Saturday, May 4, 2024!

This annual, ticketed event raises funds to help supplement all that makes our Library unique. We are excited to transform our Library into a literary feast once again, featuring our hostess Christa Delcamp in conversation with two esteemed authors with local connections. 

Over nearly 150 years, the Library has become a central community resource, providing free access to literature, technology, programming, music, art, and so much more. Last year, we were the busiest library in the Minuteman Network, welcoming over 400,000 visitors and issuing close to 5,000 new library cards! Philanthropic support generated by fundraising events allows the Library to maintain excellent digital and physical collections, create exciting and enriching programming, upgrade well-used technology and furnishings, and support staff development.

Mark your calendar to join the Trustees of the Newton Free Library for cocktails, dinner, and of course, conversation with authors Drew Faust and George Mumford. Following the program, the authors will sign their books which will be available for purchase. Please join us to support the Library!
