Stuffy Hospital and Storytime

Do you have a stuffie that’s been loved a little *too* much?  If it’s showing signs of wear and needs a little TLC, come to the Stuffie Hospital to restuff, stitch up tears, glue noses back on, and get your stuffies ready for more love. Volunteers will be available to assist with repairs, but we encourage DIYers who want to use the provided supplies to work with their child on the repair.  This is a great opportunity to instill the value of building the confidence and skills to fix broken items, extend their useful life, and save them from the landfill.

Even if your stuffie is the picture of health feel free to bring them along to listen to stories and sing some songs!

Registration (required) will open on Saturday, January 17. Kids of all ages are welcome, but the storytime books and songs will be selected for kids 0-4.

This program is co-sponsored with DPW and the Mayor's Advisory Committee on Recycling.
