Join Ilana Zaks for a solo violin performance of works by Bach, Paganini, Paul McCartney-Graunstein, and more!

Jewish-American violinist Ilana Zaks has been described as, “fearless, refreshing and commanding.” She has performed as a soloist with the Boston Civic Symphony, the Rohde island Philharmonic Orchestra and the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, among others.  Her many honors include top prizes at concerto competitions such as the 2020 BMOP Concerto Competition and the New England Philharmonic Orchestra.

This concert is presented in partnership with the Newton Senior Center as part of their ongoing series at the library.This program is generously sponsored by the Jayne Colino Fund at the Senoir Citizens Fund of Newton.
