DIY Pressed Flower Cards (Virtual)

Learn how to use your microwave to quickly press flowers and preserve the colors of summer. We'll then attach the flowers to cards to keep or send as gifts.

Kits will be available for registered patrons at the Main Desk starting one week before the date of the program.

Kits will include:

  • Blank cards
  • Paintbrush
  • Glue
  • Blotting paper
  • Tiles
  • Microwave-safe rubber bands

Patrons provide:

Microwave, flowers/leaves, scissors.

Both registered and waitlisted participants will receive a Zoom invitation to the program. If you are on the waitlist, and wish to obtain your own materials, the list is above (due to supply limits, please know that kits will not be available to those on the waitlist). Of course, you're welcome to join us if you'd simply like to watch and have not obtained the materials!

On the day of the event you will receive an email with a link to join. At the time of the program simply click on the link and you'll see the host. For more information email Julian at jbrown@minlib.net.

Registration for this program will end three hours before the start time. The Zoom link will be sent after registration closes. Please be sure to check your spam folder in case it lands there.
